A symmetric composition set within a Western sky: Rain falls as virga above the high desert valley but never wets the parched land. Nature is so cruel. Her cloud contains what appears to be an entire inland sea of purest water, upon whose surface waves break and then flow into a narrow waterfall that never reaches the thirsty valley floor below.
