04.28.26 Tidal Fluctuation (on hold for exhibition)

$4,600.00

A 24×30-inch oil on panel. Dated April 28, 2026.

This painting is one of a series I am calling, Thinking Forward-Looking Back, that reflect upon chronological scenarios comparing geographic locations undergoing oceanic and atmospheric changes over great spans of time as measured by the tiny metric of human existence, and then superimposing these snapshots in time on themselves as visual overlays.

Here we find agitated seas raging over the snow-covered mountains, amplified by a high spring tide. The towering breakers loom over the seemingly impregnable mass of granite and basalt. Time flows on.
