A framed 16×20-inch oil on panel.
My fascination with all things atmospheric continues. I am mesmerized with the dynamic energy at play within and without these massive, amorphic masses of gas and water. The translucence of clouds creates an infinite range of color and value choices from which to use. My clouds are not solid clumps of opaque white suspended above the earth; my clouds are permeable regions of cool peace that inspire contemplation, or they are potential cauldrons of turbulence.
