Sangre de Cristo #31
A framed 16×20-inch oil on panel.
Currently on hold for sale during Broadmoor Galleries exhibit.
A monochromatic study of blowing clouds executed in transparent glazes in natural earth pigments. I find visual situations interesting, especially where weather and land masses are in direct interaction. The seemingly impenetrable rock faces seem impervious to the assault by wind, water and ice. However, all matter in the universe is undergoing impermanent change, including mountains.
