Atmosphere

A 32x48-inch oil on canvas

My intent in this painting is to depict the restless flow of weather. Movement is achieved with an initial gestural drawing, and then complimenting it with equally dynamic paint strokes mimicking the restless, amorphous shapes of turbulent clouds.
