Here I have combined two different views of the eye into a concise geometric composition. Above, the retina is depicted as a dark disc containing radial spoke-like objects whose center is the optic nerve. Below, the structure of the eye is shown in cross-section with corrective lenses redirecting light through the pupil. Together these views create a powerful, symmetric composition.
